Album Info:Venlo is located in southeastern Holland near the German border. Since the railway station in Venlo is close to the border, there are many shunting movements as German cargo and passengers switch over to the Dutch railways. Also in this album are a few pictures from Roermond, Heerlen, and Landgraaf.

Description:  A Class 1700 electric motor is reconnected to a set of passenger cars for an eastbound journey back into Holland. The same motor was connected to these same passenger cars at the other end when the train arrived at Venlo. The motor was shunted around the cars and reconnected for the return journey.
